The NEO CD was supposed to be the answer to gamers wanting to enjoy SNK's games without having to shell out the multiple hundreds of dollars necessary for cartridge. The original front-loading system used the same CD mechanism as the Sega CD - and broke down just as often. The top loading unit is much more robust, and as an added bonus it can be easily modified to run in any language you prefer!
The Neo CD also has an RGB encoding system far superior to the cartridge units, and outputs lovely composite and S video out of the box. It also uses the standard Neo Geo Multi-AV port, so your existing cables will work as well. It uses all the Neo sticks and the pads.
Excellent condition. Includes everything shown, as well as four games. In addition this system has been fitted with a blue power LED and switchless territory mod, so you can boot into English or Japanese, and there's not a single external change visible. In fact, you'd have to look hard inside to spot the mod. Your friends will wonder how you did that, and you'll attract mates like never before!
